P&S ModCast 76 - Aaron Cowan

yeah i'm up on the catwalk yeah scott someone has a question for you oh god what product do you use with your hair no nothing today you see this thing it's killing me Uh, what were those issues you were having with an MVP?

Uh, so one of the things, when you get a red dot, you start to turn into a accuracy Nazi, you know what I mean? Um, and what I started doing in long time ago because of my vision or whatever is I zero at 10 and then I confirm where the bullets hitting at 25.

That's my zeroing process.

Um, before i knew any better i just like oh look at that you know three inch group it's at 10 yards i'm good to go uh and then when i started really getting into stuff i think i may have shot somebody's ATI gun and notice the thing on it.

So basically after I went through that experience of shooting a very, very good gun with a red dot, went back, um, got some mom and spear one 24, try to re zero at 10 yards.

And it was bullseye two inches, 10 o'clock, two inches, six, two inches, three.

It was just all over the place.

Um, So I thought, OK, well, maybe it's me.

Maybe that's too much caffeine.

And then I went prone and it was it was the same thing.

Varying degrees of theories on that lock up being one.

You know, they said, well, look for the two dots on the bottom of your barrel.

And that's a Gen 2 or Gen 3 barrel.

It should be good to go.

And sure, there was two on there.

Then I switched to a then I got a Storm Lake barrel.

No difference.

Then I got a KKM barrel.

And there was no difference.

And at that point in time, I reached out to Rob Jensen, who is a former competitive shooter.

He's the armorer of Virginia Arms.

His claim to fame is that he was in the first dynamic carbine video with Magpul.

Anyway, good guy.

Trust him a lot.

Really knows what he's talking about.
