So we had a majority vote at GA to make these recommendations of the presbyteries, and we need two-thirds of the PCA presbyteries to vote in favor of these in order for them to return at the 54th General Assembly.

Well, actually, I think it's just a subsequent GA, isn't it? It's not necessarily the very next one.

They could refer it to the next GA if they don't feel they have a sufficient amount of Presbyterian input.

As we talk about them right now, I would refer you to the OverturesLibrary.org. It's what we had set up for GA, and it's actually helpful now, too.

You can go look at the original... overtures that were sent a lot of these items were amended but you can see what was there first you can see votes from the OC you can see what happened on the floor and you can see some comments from me and some of the other guys that we had on there so if that's helpful click through and it'll refresh your memory as we discuss these things but will one of y'all speak to maybe what our goal is here today talking through these things you know guys are going to start seeing these at presbyteries what are we trying to do for folks

I think we're trying to just give them a primer or a pre-prep guide for thinking through the items rather than getting to your presbytery meeting and seeing that there are all these items.

There are seven items, and not knowing what they are, I think it's good for us to, before that meeting, understand what the text says, but perhaps also to have a little contextual flavor for why that text was proposed.

And so I hope we can perhaps get some of that nailed down as we work through the amendments.

Some of these were not debated on the GA floor, but they were in OC and Scott and I were there, although Scott was busy with the screen.
