Now, talk of big and bold, we're about to get a new prime minister.

We are talking on the day of Keir Starmer's last prime minister's questions.

Is that a Reform UK success?

I mean, do you think he actually lost his job? Oh, without question.

Because of what you guys achieved? Yeah, I think if Nigel and Reform had not fought the battle that they did before I joined and subsequently, there's no question about the Labour Party getting rid of Keir Starmer.

I mean, he went primarily because the results in those local elections were absolutely appalling.

in all parts of the country, including in places which it's just inconceivable that Labour would not be prospering.

You know, Sunderland, Gateshead, cities and towns across the country where you used to weigh the Labour vote, all gone to reform.

And I think it was because of that...

Yeah, so in a sense, reform was hung by its own guitar.

I was going to say, the problem is you've now got

Andy Burnham as Prime Minister.

Vote reform gets Starmer out, and that's exactly what happened.

Does that mean that the same underlying challenges that face the country remain? Yes, absolutely.

And we shall see what happens with Andy Burnham.

My sense is that he will be a more human version of Keir Starmer because the country faces a series of immense challenges.

You know, the public finances are shot.

You've got a very weak economy.

People feel that their living standards are going nowhere.

Their energy bills are going through the roof.

Immigration remains a major challenge.

The potholes in the streets, we could go on.

I don't think Andy Burnham has a plan, has answers to these.

I think the team around him is weak, as weak as the one around Keir Starmer.
