So who knows, maybe the England win has, uh, had some effect on how people feel in Make- Makerfield, uh, today.

I think there's a pretty widespread expectation that Andy Burnham is going to win this by-election, and that therefore this is going to see a cascade of events over the coming days and, uh, weeks.

Um, I have to say, if Andy Burnham loses this by-election, if Keir Starmer can't win in Makerfield with Andy Burnham, I think it makes the crisis deeper and may even make, mean events happen faster.

But look, if Andy Burnham wins this, politics is gonna be in chaos for weeks.

Yeah.

I think, um, Nigel Farage wants Andy Burnham to lose, and I think Keir Starmer wants Andy Burnham to lose privately.

But, uh, anyway, we'll, we will know the result shortly, and as you say, uh, people are expecting Burnham to win.

Uh, we're gonna then gonna talk about the backdrop to, uh, this unfolding UK leadership crisis, which is the global economy, and in particular, the impact of the Iran deal which, uh, Donald Trump has just signed with Iran.

If you can call it a deal, we're gonna get into the reads on that.

And what impact that is having on things like oil prices, inflation, and how has the Federal Reserve reacted under its, uh, new leader, Kevin Warsh, who had the first, uh, monetary policy meeting this week.

And then of course, um, Tuesday marks the 10th anniversary of Brexit.

And, uh, having turned down the Today program and News Night and Channel Four News, George Osborne, the architect of the Brexit referendum, or at least one of them, is here to tell us did it really make a difference? Was the last 10 years inevitable?
