Hannah EnglandHostWell, thank you so much for joining us so close to the World Ultimate Championships.

It's another stepping stone for me to continue that trajectory into going into next season as well.

This is a great place to work on and just continue to be better and improve in areas that I know I can improve in and continue to compete against the best.

Can I ask you, when you've got something like the World Ultimates coming up and rankings is becoming a big part of our sport, but as an athlete that also had a championship opportunity with the Europeans, how do you balance those two things, chasing that ranking to get to go to something like Ultimates, but then ensuring you're in shape for British Championships and for the European Championships?

I try to stick to my schedule as much as possible because the main things are out of the window now, the European champion, the national trials.

Because I know once I performed well in those competitions, I know that my ranking eventually got up.
I mean, because you've had these competitions still coming up and you've got a big one coming up now, have you had any time to look back and kind of... look back and what you achieved so far with any kind of joy or do you kind of have to wait till the season's finished to do that?

Not quite yet, not quite, because there's been a lot of competition in between the European Champs and leading up to the Ultimate.

To be able to just train the last two weeks has been a privilege because I haven't been training a lot because of competition, back-to-back competition.

But to have that space to train like 10 days leading up to the Ultimate is a breath of fresh air because...

Previously, I was just going back to back to back and to be able to just focus on the ultimate, I would say it's a bonus for me just to continue that momentum because I have nothing to prove.

I'm just going into the championship just to enjoy myself, have fun, and hopefully I can run at my best and even have another PB.
