NUFC Pre-season in Spain & Valencia matchday

So it is 10 to 11 on Thursday morning, and we are stood in La Manga on a, on a training pitch, a very nice training pitch.

It is very hot.

I am sweating.

I do look like a beetroot, as does Luke Edwards, who's stood next to me.

No offense or anything, Luke, um, of the Telegraph and, uh, and, uh, BBC Sport.

We have just, uh, had a short chat with Ross Wilson, the sporting director, and also James Bunce, the performance director, to find out what has been going on.

We've also just met Mathias Jaislah, Jaislah for the first time, and I have to say, Luke, he is almost as hench as you.

Not quite, but almost.

He is a big unit.

Yeah.

I mean, he's, he's very muscular.

I would...

This might sound a bit strange, but I'd like to see him without his top on, just to check how f- you know, uh, how ripped he is.

But yeah, uh, impressive, uh, physical specimen.

Um, manicured beard.

Never sure about a manicured beard, personally.

As you can see, I'm more of a wild man beard.

Uh, and a nice sort of flick, flicked hair.

Um, good eye contact.

Um, yeah, it's, you know, as first impressions go, [laughs] I don't know.

I can't say anything more than that.

He, he's a, he's a handsome man.

Yeah, I mean, we're gonna interview him later on.

Um, but, and how he actually works is another matter than-
