So this podcast is gonna continue diving deep on all things plant-based muscle gain, plant-based fat loss, but also plant-based health.

On a plant-based diet, what does that look like? 'Cause we all know a plant-based diet is high in fiber, so it is good for our gut.

Our gut obviously thrives on fiber and thrives on short-chain fatty acids, and it has an impact on your immune system.

It reduce k- reduce risk for all certain diseases, and that's why a plant-based diet, a plant-forward diet is so powerful.

But why? Like, what is the, what does a deep dive look in terms of gut health? And I want to have more episodes around that, have more guests on, have more content, so you guys can benefit from it.

I wanna talk about why it's so confusing and what it actually means to do plant-based the right way, right? Because on the one side, that's why I call it the plant-based paradox.

On the one side, you have all this data and all this research, and everyone telling you that a plant-based diet is the best for your health, right? It's the best for lowering cholesterol, lowering your blood pressure, lowering risk for really all-cause mortality.

But on the other side, you have research and studies showing that there is some risk for more cognitive decline.

There's a risk for more depression on a plant-based diet, and deficiencies, developing deficiencies that we are aware of on the one side and not aware of on the other side.

And I live in this beautiful kind of sweet spot in, in both of these categories or looking at both of these sides because I've helped and coached so many plant-based people over the last decade, that I can see both sides, and I can pull back the curtain and be real.

I think the goal of my podcast always is and was to be real and to not sugarcoat things.

If you're new, then you will, [chuckles] you will get to know this side of me.

So what is the plant-based paradox? The plant-based paradox is, again, looking at both of these sides.

On the one side, all the benefits of a plant-based diet, and on the other side, all the risks of a plant-based diet, which are not talked about enough.
