Fritz HorstmannHostPatrickGuestYeah, I think the first one is a really good one.
And I think a similar case To us, a lot of people can relate to he's sort of similar age to us, travels a lot, goes out to a lot of social events and things like that.
And when he came to us and started out, really just was struggling to, I guess, balance all of that and see any sort of progress.
Because I think obviously it's easy to make progress when we're not doing any of those things and we're locked into a very similar routine every day.
But I think then as soon as weekend comes and we go out, everything sort of falls off track.
And as you mentioned earlier as well, I think especially with traveling a lot, that can completely derail your routine that you have.
So it's kind of like scrambling a bit, trying to figure everything out, what to do, what not to do.
Um, and yeah, I think that was the biggest thing we, we worked together on was maintaining that consistency while he was traveling in a new city, finding a gym if the hotel didn't have one.
Um, and then obviously food, you know, sourcing and, and staying on track with your nutrition and obviously tracking it as well.
Um, I think has become a little bit easier now, maybe with AI, a lot of the apps have, um, the photo option where we can just take a picture of our meal and get a sort of estimate of our calories.
And then obviously, yeah, the social events as well, figuring out a way to still enjoy life while still obviously locking in and making some progress, cutting down a little bit on the alcohol was a big one for him.
And now how was that?

Like when he came in, I remember because I also had a call with him when he came on and And just to give some more context as well, that person specifically is 33 years old, around 6'2", tall, and was around 198 pounds or 200 pounds, roughly.

He was a typical, I would say, skinny fat type physique where he wasn't overly obese or anything like that.

But he did realize that he'd been trying a lot and for a long time to get off the, especially the body fat, like getting from skinny fat to ripped.

And I remember that alcohol was a big kind of conversation, not in a way of that he was alcoholic or or addicted necessarily but you know in this age range living in new york um you know good looking guy as well he he found himself a bit of in a position of i'm not like really struggling with my health right i don't wake up and everything is horrible he still looked pretty good with a shirt on, right? He was going places with his social life and it's not necessarily a moment of, oh, I need to change something now, else everything will tumble.

But that's also what I found over the years, a bit of a dangerous situation to be in, where you are in a situation and you are 33 and you're actually A-OK, but then you wake up At 38 and you have to catch up and you probably have gained even more weight.

So he shared with me when he first started, he was going out for dinner like three to four times a week.

And then each time having one or two glasses of wine, enjoying himself and not saying that that's not possible.

So I'm curious, how did you observe like with the coaching calls with interactions? How did you observe his relationship to that, like change to social life, and to our goal? And how did that impact his his physique and and also his well being well being program?
Yeah, I think definitely there was a little bit of resistance at first to cutting down on it.
But I think once we sort of found in the beginning, I guess, a bit of a middle ground where we cut those days down a little bit.
