It's a process of how to turn your relationship into like a crucible or a container for healing, growth, transformation and connection because they're all inherently related.

So we start with, and this is what separates us from regular therapy, we start with embodiment.

and having a connection to our nervous system and our body because we need to be regulated to be able to use relational tools.

And when you're in that place, your brain, your body, your nervous system doesn't care about connection.

So having a connection to your nervous system is also really important to create empathy and being able to feel the other person.

So many women complain that their partners don't feel them because so many of us are conditioned to be in our minds and we come at relationship from a place to problem solve or fix or if she's got something going on, here's the answer to your problem.

Then we work in showing couples what's going on when they're triggered, how they can contain that part of themselves that doesn't care about connection we call that part the adaptive child and this is where knowing our history and how we've been conditioned becomes really important because when we are triggered and we revert into that primitive part of our brain we start to play out all the ways that we were either conditioned to be as children or we were allowed to be with no boundaries so this is why when we're triggered in relationship it's the past coming into the present as an opportunity to be integrated so that we can also bring the unconscious to the conscious and therefore be free of the past to create a new future which I know, Adam, for you is really big.

We don't want to pass on, I'm just hearing a biblical term, the sins of our fathers.

No. We're not wanting to pass on those generational curses and ancestral traumas.

And when our children are challenging us, it's also an opportunity for us to reclaim and reparent our own inner child.

They are the evolutionary edge of where we're being asked to grow as human beings.
