So let's look at the reality of this transition, because Moses is 120 years old.
Yeah.
He's at the very end.
He stands before the people and explicitly announces, "I can no longer go out and come in." He tells them God has said he will not cross the Jordan River into the Promised Land, and that Joshua is taking over.
It's a massive shift.
