Off Campus is a hockey romance television series created by Louisa Levy for Amazon Prime Video. It is based on the *Off-Campus* book series by Elle Kennedy. *Off Campus* follows Hannah Wells and…
So we continue from where we left off in the previous episode where Hannah asked Garrett to get her off.
And she's explaining to Garrett that Justin's roommates aren't going to be over later.
We know what that means.
She opens up to him finally about... being essayed and how she's come a long way going through therapy but since then she really hasn't been able to climax with any other men and so she's really nervous about being able to do that with Justin and she feels that Garrett would be able to help her do that and I just have I have so many thoughts going through that.
One, I don't have any experience, thankfully, with SA.
I applaud her for her journey to becoming her strong self again.
It's an interesting opening to the episode.
You know, it starts off really heavy.
Before the episode starts, there's a disclaimer.
Before the episode's warning you about, you know, there's a heavy topic about SA that's involved in this to let the viewer know.
And it's...
It's interesting because she's trying to quickly get past it to let him know why she's asking this of him.
And he has to take in all this information at once.
I don't know if you've ever had a friend confide in you something like this serious.
But I have.
Someone very close to me has.
A couple of people, actually.
And it's like...
It's a really heavy thing to kind of process.
Like, this person went through the things that they went through.
But, you know, they're still trying to keep the conversation very lighthearted because she's asking him questions.
this thing, this specific thing of him, you know, but like they're trying to get, like he's still trying to get past that heaviness of what she just told him.
I felt like I was Garrett in that scene processing what she was telling me and then you're asking me to do this very intimate thing with you.
Yeah.
but it's like wait wait you just said this other part before that and then you're just like we don't need to dwell on that though it's like no no no but we do though and I know like if you've ever if anyone's gone through any sort of like trauma it's like that balance of like you're trying to open up to someone but then you also don't want them to pity you you don't want to have to tell them every detail again because you're always having to do that and so i understand the balance of it but yeah it was just such a bizarre scene for me and i didn't know how to feel about it afterwards especially because i feel like we were meant to just and we're moving on it's a fun show
