An OGN Reunion Debrief!

So, Clay, why don't you kick it off?

Yeah, so just some background here, since we're on the fence.

I went out there.

I separated from the military active duty, but I still am in the reserves, and I work for the Air Force Academy, so...

I had the chance to go out there for a work trip for my reserve job.

So unfortunately, it wasn't just a fun trip.

But it was good to get back out there.

And we made the most of the limited opportunity we had to actually get some gaming in.

Would have I liked to game from sunup to sundown for four days straight? Yes.

But we did get a couple nice evenings together, starting with some time at your house.

You picked me up from my hotel.

And you dined me at my favorite fast food chain, In-N-Out, with your lovely wife and Gwenny.

And we went back and we got to it.

And the first thing we played was Reforest, which you had been pretty high on on the podcast.

Yeah.

Um, and let me tell you, it was nice having a game taught to me again, because this doesn't happen often.

So it was just a, it was like a warm blanket being cuddled over me, just being able to just sit there and be the one that just didn't need to know anything.

I didn't need to know the rules.

You just told them all to me and it was great.

I just sat there and I played and I had a great time.

Getting all cuddled up in my teach of Reforest.

Yes, it was a great teach.

You'd think you were out here doing this all the time, Travis.

So what were your initial impressions? Because that was the first game of the night, and I felt like, as somebody who does not host many game nights, I felt like it might have fallen a little flat with you, maybe compared to a Wingspan Pocket or something like that.

It felt like it wasn't quite on that level of enthusiasm.
