S2 E01 | Parenting between the cultures: Making Berlin home with Mum in Berlin

Since you are speaking about to sharing the things with your kids, I also would like to ask what would be your, like, top three spots in Berlin, because you are also sharing some content from, like, Germany in general, not only Berlin.

So I would like to ask, like, your top three spots, both in Berlin but in Germany, that families can spend time with their kids.

That's a problem for me.

[laughs]

[laughs] Hard to pick?

To choose, yes.

Yeah.

Because, uh, I am the person that also finds so many things interesting.

For example, in Berlin, [laughs] I really-

Sorry, and especially, like, in autumn and winter since, like, we are about to, like, go to the dark days.

Yeah, where, where they can take their kids.

Yes.

So the problem is that I don't come back so often to the places because so many things to discover here that, [laughs] that, that I always try to, when I have time, I always try to check something new.

When you said about Germany, like, I can...

What immediately came to my head was a trip last year we did with my smallest daughter.

We went to Fürth im Wald, or am Wald, im Wald, because she's a dragon fan.

So there was this huge, I think it's the biggest one, like, a robotic dragon in the world which moves, which, uh, has fire, and that was, like, something really special.

And she asks me since then when we are going back-

Yeah

... because she would like to see this dragon again.

And I know that they have, like, a city fest, uh, every year where they, uh, like, do like a little story from the past, and all the, like, people that live in the city take part in it.

They, like, dress, uh, with, uh, clothes from these times, and that, that was really cool.

I-

In which region?

Bavaria.
