So if you could challenge our listeners to start doing just one thing to improve their follow up strategy, what would it be?

So the one thing I would say is open up your inbox, if you could do that right now while you're listening, and go to your sent folder.

Look at the sent folder from the beginning of last month and look at every single email that you've sent out where you haven't got a response.

And I want you to look at that email and I want you to think, how can I message this particular person with something that's valuable so that I can get a response back from them? Often at times as salespeople, we do one, two outreach and then we let it go.

And actually it could take five to eight touch points before a client or prospective buyer buys into what you're selling.

Get into your sent folder and go through those emails and send an email to them.

Well, I hope that's inspired some people to get into that inbox and potentially bring some things into the pipeline that they'd forgotten about or could have done better.
