On this show, more voices from “Turning the Tide: 9/11, 25 Years Later,” a conference of scholars, scientists, firefighters and a myriad of others who dispute the official narrative of the attacks on…
25 years ago, on a beautiful September morning, monstrous evil descended upon America.
In the span of a few fleeting hours, thousands of innocents were violently stolen from us.
Our nation was plunged into turmoil and our world was altered forever.
In the immediate devastating aftermath of that horror, every American asked the same exact questions.
Who could conceive of such a brazen, monstrous act? Who possessed the terrifying capability, the technical sophistication and the cold-blooded resolve to execute a plot so complex, so devastating and so precise? We were told to look across oceans.
We were told to look into distant caves.
But if we are truly serious about honoring the memory of those we lost, if we are truly devoted to the solemn oath of never forget, then we must have the moral courage to look wherever the evidence leads.
No matter how uncomfortable, no matter how shocking, and no matter how close to home that trail may lead.
Because the unsettling truth is this, the strategic blueprint for a plot like September 11th was not hatched in the mountains of the Hindu Kush.
It was conceived nearly four decades earlier, right here in the heart of our own national security establishment, inside the corridors of the Pentagon and Washington, D.C.
And at the highest levels of the United States military, the Joint Chiefs of Staff drafted and signed a secret plan known as Operation Northwoods.
Operation Northwoods was a blueprint for a massive false flag operation.
a literal how-to manual for orchestrating terror against American citizens to manipulate public emotion and manufacture consent for war.
What did Operation Northwoods propose? It called for the hijacking of commercial American jetliners.
It called for secretly swapping out these planes for remote-controlled drone aircraft, which would then be blown up in midair.
It called for the CIA to stage violent acts of terrorism in major American cities, conduct fake funerals for nonexistent victims, and sink boats carrying refugees, all to blame a foreign adversary, ignite blind patriotic fury, and drum up public support for a military invasion of Cuba.
Think about that for a moment.
In 1962, the highest ranking military officers in the United States signed their names to a top secret plan advocating the deliberate terrorization of the American public.
That monstrous proposal was brought to the desk of President John F. Kennedy.
JFK possessed the moral backbone to reject it.
He shelved the plan.
He shoved the plan and he relieved the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff who spearheaded it.
President Kennedy understood what every free citizen must remember.
When government agencies operate behind a dark veil of total secrecy, unmoored from the Constitution, they become capable of contemplating the unimaginable.
