Hey guys, it's time for Nintendo to share their latest financial and sales numbers with us.
And it's good news.
Let me run down some of these real quick and then we'll talk about them.
Nintendo Switch 2 sold 3.82 million units between April 1st and June 30th worldwide, which brings the total of Nintendo Switch 2 sold to 23.68 million units.
meaning that is past the game cube in lifetime sales.
Yeah.
So
I didn't last week, last week I got, I was, I was told I was, uh, what was the term that they used? Uh, Pretty much bad-mouthing Mario, Sunshine, and GameCube.
I forget the term that they used.
But I said, I jokingly said, is it really that if the truth? But at the time, I was thinking of N64 numbers.
I said that GameCube sold in the 30 millions.
And so there was three Wii U's.
with Wii U selling 13 and a half million turns out only one and a half.
One of them is one and a half.
Uh,
I guess it slips my mind, too, that GameCube only sold that many.
But this is also a good place for us to remind you, if you're out there and you have not purchased a Nintendo Switch 2 yet, you have about a month left to purchase that at its current price, including the Summer Bundle, where you can build your own bundle with Donkey Kong, Bonanza, Mario Kart World, or Pokemon Pocopia.
at the $499 price.
No announced cost on further bundles, so it may not be that they don't do bundles.
No bundles
have been announced at this time.
I imagine that the Choose Your Game bundle that's currently out there, $4500, will be gone at the time of this price increase.
Do you think if we see any models from now on, it's going to be $549?
It's possible.
