What's next for Sacramento's light rail system? Where would you like to see it go next? Well,
I've been at RT for over three decades, and I started off as an operator, and I drove the light rail when it was a single line.
It's expanded into three lines in the 30-plus years I've been here, a lot more mileage.
One of the things that we're in the process of procuring right now, and it will heighten the system greatly, is a CPTC system, which is computer-based train control.
Other big major cities like Sacramento have light rail that goes to, you know, like that, and the streetcar, the streetcar from West Sacramento into our downtown area.
We're not in construction yet, but it's still in kind of the final phases of planning, correct? It is, Greg.
