It has
3:30
definitely grown quite a bit.
3:31
So after we built the first 36 cars for Sacramento RT, we had the possibility to move out of town with our next customer, which was San Diego MTS.
3:47
But because of the great experience we had here in town with the location, the logistics, the workforce that we were able to build and train here, we decided to stay in town.
3:59
But we didn't want to rent anymore, and Siemens had the confidence and the stability of the market that it was going to continue to grow in the U.S. and Canada.
4:09
and we found a 22-acre parcel in the south side of town in the Florin area and established an initial facility there.
4:17
Now, that has since grown to 65 acres and 2,500 employees, everything from an assembler to a welder, a draftsperson to a research engineer, a supply chain manager to a project manager.

that's one of the really cool things about visiting that site is to go and see so so we're purchasing the new s700 vehicles for you from you for our light rail system and we're still in that process of exchanging those out on the gold line is all 100 new vehicles now i believe we're still working on on uh on the blue line but what's really cool is to visit your facility and see the exact same vehicle but in livery for for maybe five or six different systems i i don't know what it is it's just kind of cool
