"That's My QB!" Chig Okonkwo on Jayden Daniels + Logan Thomas' QB-to-TE Story | Next Man Up | Washington Commanders | NFL

It's been an honor, you know, just coming back to this area with a lot of fans that are ready, you know, that are on my side, you know, is really cool.

And just being able to go through camp and now the first few games of the season and seeing how passionate our fan base is, it's been really awesome.

And now it's just on us, you know, to really get this thing going.

We have everything that we need and just a couple plays, you know, that we missed.

But I truly believe in this team and, you know, the vision that we have.

And I think we can still get to exactly where we want to go.

And we appreciate that belief because I think it's easy with everything that's going on.

I feel like we've had a full season already with all the different things that have happened.

But folks, forget, man, we're only in week six.

There's so much more football to play.

And as one of the veterans in our building, man, have you been able to kind of help guys in the locker room keep their heads up and kind of tell them, like, hey, man, we have so much more football to play?

Yeah, like DQ today showed us how much percentage of the season we had left.

We still got like 70% of the games left.

There's still so many games.

I don't think guys are really hanging their head down in the locker room.

I think we all know what it is.

Like I said, a couple plays away and our record would be completely different.

Yeah, no one's really holding their head down low, man.

We're all just ready to get it.

We're looking for that next op.

We have a great opportunity this week playing the number one team in the NFL right now.

it'll be a great challenge for us to go out there and just do what we do.

It'll be like the Seattle game where no one's, you know, everyone's counting us out, but in our building, we know what we got, and we're going to go out there and show them.
