Tracking Bucks in the Snow, From Vermont to Pennsylvania

Oh my Lord.

Um, I don't even know where to start.

I really think about since the last time we recorded, which unfortunately was last summer.

And, uh, we had a phenomenal fall.

I don't even know what to say.

We, we were literally quote pinching ourselves at my camp and in not just my family, but, um, our camp members as well.

And, We shot nine bucks out of my group this year, this past fall.

And anybody that knows New England knows, especially when it comes to big woods hunting.

And I tell everybody, I did a video the day I shot my Vermont buck on Monday, the third day of our Vermont season.

I shot my biggest Vermont buck to date for me.

Didn't make the 200 pound patch, but just under 190 pounds.

An eight pointer with a 20 inch wide spread.

And I got him tracking.

And I'm no Rick Labby.

I'm no Benoit, Hal Blood.

All of you listen to all the podcasters out there.

And I know a lot of these guys personally myself.

And I track occasionally when the conditions are right.

And this was one of those days that the conditions were right.

And I was on his track less than two and a half hours.

And He made his first mistake and I was in the right spot on that first mistake that I got two shots into him and I got him.

But I did a little video recap of walking up to that buck and it's probably one of the best video viewings that I've ever had of anything.

I think the last I checked were 15,000 views.

But this old fat guy was pretty excited to walk up to this buck when it was snowing out and everything.
