We're always pleased to welcome back to the program my friend George Harris, candidate for State Senate District 8.

Well, thank you.

The race that you have here with Marilyn Dondero-Loop, who I invited to be on the program to debate you, and unfortunately she did not respond.

I talked to her previously, and she had turned me down then, but I did want to extend the offer, but it was not accepted.

You've been trying, from what I've seen, to run a very positive campaign, but the campaign seems to have turned ugly, at least from the other direction, toward you.

It's like being in battle again.

I mean, I'm actually refreshed and, you know, I feel there's a purpose.

Yeah, unfortunately, you know, she's gone.

She's sent these horrible negative pieces out about me.

She says that I have HOA liens, which isn't true.

She says I'm $2 million in debt.

I fired 40 people before Christmas.

I've been retired for two years.

I haven't fired anybody.

She says that I'm being sued for unpaid taxes.

None of this is true.

It's just absolutely, and she calls me a failed business guy.

She said, oh, he's a failed businessman, and I thought, wow, I didn't, you know, I've been endorsed by the National Federation of Independent Businesses, and I'm pretty sure they don't endorse failed business people.

Pretty sure.
