So for 2024, the HIV diagnosis, these are among people who are aged 13 and older.


So the most important thing with that, Marianne, is who is most infected or who are the most new patients living with HIV? Males, 30,975.

Black African-American persons was just under 40% at 39%, but just over 15,000 new patients.

And if you look at people who, their risk for HIV infection, the most common risk, which has been pretty steady over many years, about 65%.

was male-to-male sexual contact with just over 25,000 new people living with HIV.

32 geographically in the South, and we'll talk a little bit about this later on, but at the time of the diagnosis, the people residing in the South was over 50%, so 51% of new infections, just under 20,000 new infections were from the South.

So that's obviously just kind of some of the top-line highlights of some of the major findings from the 2024 CDC data that was released.
