What the advocacy center does, they partner with very important people in the community like cops and hospitals and therapists.
If a child is being abused or neglected, they would come and schedule, I mean, normally a very quick appointment, like they get picked up and within five minutes, they're getting rushed to the advocacy center.
Once they're at the advocacy center, they are going to go through different exams depending on what kind of abuse it is, whether it's physical abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, whatever it is.
They're going to audit them and see what kind of abuse is happening here.
They'll work with law enforcement to make sure whoever is responsible as being held accountable.
So they're getting access to therapists who are going to help them work through the trauma.
They're getting access to lawyers and law enforcement that are going to help move through their process.
