Baking, Browsing, and a Blast from the Past

Hope those of you here in the States had a wonderful, happy 4th.

We are going to talk about something that could make your summer even happier.

Potentially a couple things, but one definitely that has been making our summer happier.

Yep, I agree.

What are we talking about?

Another food service.

But this one's a little different.

Before you go clicking away going, oh no, really? This one's different.

How is it different? It's different because you get the food and then you bake it yourself.

It's kind of like a meal kit service, except it's for breads, pastas, pastries, things like that.

And most of them are made with sourdough.

You certainly still have to think about your carbs, but they're healthier than a lot of carbs that you would eat, or at least some carbs that you would eat.

You have to obviously do it in moderation.

You pay attention to serving sizes.

Since Chris's health scare in December, we've been paying much more attention to that kind of stuff.

Our entire lifestyle has changed dramatically in the last six months, and...

You know, we pay attention to all this stuff now, and if you can keep it to a degree where you're not eating everything in sight, even though you want to because it's tasty, it really isn't too much of an issue.

So what is this service called, and why do we like it? It's called a Wild Green,

and I like it because it comes pretty much ready to eat.

You wouldn't nuke the stuff.

you would bake it so we actually have been using our amazon smart oven the one that amazon discontinued a few years ago that some of us are hanging on to with dear life because while it's a pretty decent sized oven it does a lot it does baking it does air frying microwave reheat a bunch of other things and it's been working flawlessly for us right now so why rock the boat

Yep.

The thing about convection baking, which is what the Amazon oven does, is it's very even.

It does an awesome job.
