Could This Be The BEST All In?! (Full Breakdown + Predictions!)

The Casino Gauntlet match, for those of you that don't watch AEW or kind of just getting into AEW for the first time, it's kind of similar to a Money in the Bank and a Royal Rumble because if you win the match, you get this contract to where you can cash it in at any moment during the year, except you have to give a week's notice to be able to get a World Championship match.

Tony Khan made that little roll last year.

I don't really like it, to be honest.

I wish that it was just at any moment in time, but whatever.

That's neither here nor there.

Now, the way the match works is that it starts off with two people, and then at any random moment, another wrestler can come in.

but at any random moment, this match could actually end, because unlike a Royal Rumble where you gotta eliminate everybody, all you gotta do is get the first pin.

Now, on the men's side of things, it will be starting off with Andrade and MJF, so let's say if Andrade or MJF pinned each other before the third person comes out, or even, heck, when they're running down to the ring, that's the end of the match right there, and either Andrade or MJF would win, depending on who got the pin.

Now, the reason why I said we might get the women's match is because the men's casino gauntlet has already been set up.

They, you know, set this up for weeks now, The Women's Casino Gauntlet has no participants, no mention of it at all, so it's very likely that it might not get added, but there's still that small inkling of hope because a lot of people have been asking for this match to be added to this all-in card, seeing as how Tony Khan did promise a lot of fans.

that this will be a yearly thing but to stay on the mid side of things because we do know that this match is going to be happening i will say i think the winner of this match is going to potentially be kyle fletcher because i'm looking at a lot of the people that could win this and i'm like okay will is likely walking out of all in as the aw men's world champion the best person to dethrone him i think would potentially be kyle fletcher because if you remember last year in the year before that kyle fletcher had gone into both 2024 and 2020 no 2025 and 2026 with nothing he had no direction at all because he had lost his titles and that's the way that he had felt but Now I'm thinking that AEW might potentially give him a big story or a big thing going into 2026, which would be holding that world championship.

And the best way to be able to get that would be by having that casino gauntlet win and then cashing in an opportunity against Will to be able to basically take everything from Will, which which would add on more to his whole hatred of Will Ospreay.

For those of y'all that don't know, Will and Kyle had been working together for many upon many years, whether it be with the United Empire or it be in AEW as like a trios and all that stuff, until eventually Kyle Fletcher ended up turning on Will and aligning with the Don Callis family.

And ever since then, it's been a whole lot of hatred between these two guys.

But that does depend heavily on whether or not he ends up losing his international championship match, which is a very real possibility.

I'll get to that in just a minute because I want to stay on the women's side of things for the Casino Gauntlet now because there are potentially a lot of people at play that could win this women's Casino Gauntlet.

Now, if you've been following the My Side of Things podcast, which is over here on this YouTube platform and Spotify and Apple Podcasts as well, I was saying for the longest that I thought Mercedes was going to end up winning the Women's Casino Gauntlet.

And that would be the way that she wins the AEW Women's World Championship.

Obviously, now she won the own hard cup tournament and she's going after the AEW Women's World Championship held by Willow Nightingale.

So that whole plan is out of the way.

so who's the next best one well my thought would have been athena but athena won last year do you have her win back to back the same way you had mercedes went back to back or does it just feel too predictable but then again while it is very predictable that mercedes is likely going to end up beating willow the story is really amazing so nobody actually cares and a lot of folk are thinking maybe willow is going to win So there's a very real possibility that Athena could win the Casino Gauntlet, have this amazing story with Mercedes, and then be the one to dethrone her.

But my thought process is Toni Storm.

Because I think if Mercedes does end up winning the AEW Women's World Championship, that her storyline is going to be taking down everybody that caused her downfall.

Starting off with Willow, likely runs a match against Chris Statlander, potentially even Jamie Hayter.

I could see a Harley Cameron match along the way or just some kind of interactions with Harley and then Toni Storm and maybe in Persephone, some other women from the Indies as well, because we do know that Toni Storm was really the start of everything that did happen with the Mercedes and her downfall last year, where she went into this year or what she was going into this all in with, I think, seven belts around the time, maybe nine belts already.
