As you said, just before we started, like there's been so much, there's been so much recently.
Let's start with the elephant in the room.
I'm surprised you don't have the tissues out already.
I have no idea.
So it will be, it's currently in the Prince Edward Theatre and it's now going to play its final performance on the second, second or third of January.
Have they not decided? No, no, no.
Or maybe I've just written that down wrong.
Ending gets run over three months earlier than its original scheduled April closure.
I
just always find things like that strange because I know three months is going to be a long time, especially if something's going to be not happening or whatever, but...
I just, I'm like, can you not just, it's only three months, can you not just let it run for the three months? And then I
wondered, why is it? Is it because, like, the Prince Edward Theatre is massive, like, it is a big house, but then you would hope if that was the only reason, like, it's having to close early because it's not filling that house, could you not have moved it into another theatre, you know, like, into a smaller theatre?
Yeah.
that's what the problem with Beatle just is because whenever it was on Broadway it was in the winter theatre and it needs to be in a large theatre because of the what goes on on stage yeah so I think that was always because even whenever it was touring around America it was only in certain areas
isn't it just so It's a bizarre story, isn't it? That musical, because as you've mentioned, like Broadway was on and off and on and off and on and off too.
And here, like I would have thought, because it had such a cult following, it had such a name, there was such excitement when it was announced that it would be coming to London.
I'm just really shocked.
It's really sad.
We're not going to get to see it.
And I suppose, is it so technical that it would be a nightmare to tour? Or do you think there'll be a UK tour? No.
I think I would have to go to just select.
I think it's a bit like Back to the Future.
Yes, got you.
