If ever there's been a recent film that's had quite the journey to the screen, Coyote vs. Acme is probably the most fascinating.
With James Gunn involved as a producer, recognizable actors like Will Forte and John Cena in the principal roles, and its focus on the Looney Tunes, this was revving up to be a major release for Warner Brothers.
After completion, someone looked at it and decided it would be better as a tax write-off and locked away in the studio water tower, never to be released.
Understandably, there was a lot of outrage over this, not just from Looney Tunes fans, but many in Hollywood.
Finally, Ketchup Entertainment stepped up to the rescue to help get the movie released.
