Will Forte

It is a Warner Brothers Looney Tunes movie, kind of in the style of Roger Rabbit, where live action people are mixed with the classic Warner Brothers animated characters.

And what's his name from SNL? Will Forte.

Will Forte is this dirtbag lawyer in New Mexico, and Coyote approaches him to sue Acme for selling him decades worth of shitty products.

And so it is kind of, it's very funny.

It's weirdly very touching and, and, and sentimental and moments.

This movie was released finally on August 28th, 2026.

And uh directed by dave green written by sammy birch uh the plot summary courtesy of imdb is after enduring years of malfunctioning products wiley coyote teams up with a local personal injury attorney to take on acme the manufacturer of anything and everything used by the looney tunes characters And the cast for this movie includes Will Forte, Lana Condor, John Cena, Tone Bell, Martha Kelly, Luis Guzman, PJ Byrne, and John Early.

So, guys, to bring us into the non-spoiler review, let's talk a little bit about the controversy surrounding this movie from last year or a couple of years ago, where this was a movie that was very, very...

I think it was it was going to be a tax write off from Warner Brothers and they were just never going to release it.

At least towards the end of the movie, I was almost crying, which is hilarious to say in this kind of movie.

I thought the acting, John Cena continues to be really surprising for me as a wrestling fan, watching that guy pop into movies and just be really, really great.

Will Forte, obviously, really good, too.

And for everything that they would have had to have dealt with for, I don't know, the logistics of how they shoot cartoons in movies.

It had a lot of hype behind it.

Basically, everybody who worked on it loved it, which included Will Forte, John Cena, a lot of big names.

And it was also the last Looney Tunes movie, aside from the last Looney Tunes movie, The Day the Earth Blew Up, which was also good.

And people, you know, wanted more Looney Tunes.

I thought this premise was going to be building on Looney Tunes.

So

you were expecting like 20% more Looney Tunes, 20% less Will Forte.

No, I was expecting when we had loony stuff happening on the screen that it would be something new and different that I hadn't seen before, like a logical extension of bigger and crazier, rather, right? Yeah.

Yeah, he's definitely like at the very least, he's not a villain in Looney Tunes, but he's definitely like a heel.

yeah he's definitely a heel but then just like framing him as this like this spirit of like raw determination and persistence and like trying until you succeed and you can fail a million times but maybe one day you'll win and that will be great because you tried and i think will forte's character like embodies that so perfectly and it does maybe sometimes it feels corny but i think it just all serves the purpose of the movie so well to like have him basically just be human wily coyote who's given up yeah he he definitely is like the bridge between

cartoons and humans or whatever because he's just like a pale not a pale imitation but he just pales in terms of his i don't know lawyerly acumen compared to john cena who's just like a straight straight up like corporate professional legal counsel guy yeah and will forte's just like a mess he always looks awful always comic on how awful he looks he's just always missing his throws and like

everything yeah awesome he's such a funny character everyone just does a really good job while a coyote is silent the whole time there's never a moment where like he does speak and it's like oh he's just like nope i've signed like so animated so expressive and i like that foghorn leghorn for some reason is the leader of the acme corporation right he like sells out his own like race i guess which is prettier species Which is pretty wild.

Yeah, there's some minor commentary on that.

It just feels so like

Bugs Bunny is Will Forte.

He's amazing.

Will Forte, Erica Henningsen, Kenny Silver, Marco Calvini, Tina Fey, and what's his name? From The Office, the boss guy.

Yeah, he's a great character.

It's a video from Mumford and Sons Hopeless Wanderer.

It has Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis, Ed Helms and Will Forte as they're playing as the band.

And, you know, once again, similar to to Rupert Grint doing his thing, just So fun to see them all doing like they're four of the funniest guys around.

And Jason is a local hero.

And my bit of modern media is Coyote vs. Acme, the live-action film where Wile E. Coyote sues the Acme Corporation for damages.

And Will Forte is his lawyer.

John Cena is the villainous defense attorney.

And it is very, very funny.
