You've taken the courses, read the books, listened to all the podcasts, and you still feel stuck. I share why getting in the room with the right people might be the highest-ROI career move you can…
There is a lesson that I have learned over and over in my career, and that is the power of getting in the room with the right people.
This episode is so timely because I just recently got back from LA, where I spent time with like-minded women, leveling up, doing all the things, and was thinking, "This is the most valuable thing I invest in." And I remember when I started my business, I was learning a ton, okay? I was investing in courses, I had hired a coach who I was meeting with regularly, and I was heads down trying to learn as much as I possibly could.
The thing that changed everything for me, that took me from bringing in around 200K a year to almost 200K a launch, was getting in the room with people who had done it.
It was actually getting outside of my day-to-day completely and spending time with people who had the same goals, where we could have side conversations about challenges we were experiencing or talk about a strategy over lunch.
Last year, I did my first ever in-person summit, 50 women in Toronto, and I had such an amazing full circle moment because I got to watch this transformation happen to so many women right in front of me.
By the end of the day, women were coming up to me just buzzing with energy, telling me that this was the best leadership day they had ever spent in their career, that they had finally found their tribe, and that they had experienced something so powerful.
So that's what I wanna talk about today, why the best investment you can make in your career right now might not be another course, another book, another coach, another webinar.
It might just be getting out of your home office and into a room with the right people.
