I think it's so easy when we wanna build something new, right? We wanna create something new.

We wanna, we wanna feel like we're building, we're adding to the world something new, something of us, something that we believe we have touched and we've, you know, blood, sweat, and tears and, and created something new.

But oftentimes we don't think about what system is required to maintain what's already there or to maintain the very thing that you've started to develop and you brought to the world.

And in engineering, system engineering, we call that kind of the, you know, the qualification phase of, of a system.

You know, we, we, we wanna have the maintainability, the serviceabilities, basically the, the non-functional requirements of your product.

What are they? You know, the safety, the maintainability, the repeatability, the sustainability, um, you know, adaptability, reliability, right? That's the li- the, the, uh, the lilies, the abilities is, in system engineering, is what we refer when it comes to basically grown-up talk, you know? It's easy to design something new.

It is really difficult to maintain it for a sustained period of time while it keeps on adding value.
