somthing , somthing 40k.
at dickie black templar so i was concerned with my defiler that the uh the claw metal and the metal wouldn't like be too similar to the gray but i think the gray is actually it's separating pretty well
it looks good man i got so excited showing my black templar off that i unplugged my mic
Oh.
Hey, can I bring that clock closer to the camera? I want to get a close-up.
Is that okay? Yeah,
yeah, yeah.
Oh, yeah, dude.
That looks sick.
I like the gray and the silver.
That definitely differentiates.
Yeah, yeah,
yeah.
So that's Iron Warrior silver, and then I did a little rusty orange dry brush on top of it.
Hell, yeah, dude.
And then what I think I'm going to do.
Why
am I not
allowed to play Black Tempers? Well, because you're cutting in the middle of conversations when we do that.
But, no, like the little spiky bits here, I'm going to do, like, red.
Fair enough.
So essentially, I'm just like, I don't want to do Space Wolves, but I'm just going to steal the Space Wolves color scheme.
That's cool, dude.
And you're playing the good Space Wolves, the gray color.
Yeah,
yeah.
I mean, they're angry in close combat.
But yeah, and so like I said, I'm kind of like always coming along.
And I've just been, when I've had the chance to work at home, just in case my employer's listening.
Well, I'm obviously paying full attention during meetings.
I'm also adding some
paint.
You're not paying full attention.
some of them i don't need to be there uh you know i
also built
this guy today too he's chunky they're so good man yeah like
i don't know if it's perspective but that's like a an eighth of your head size which is impressive
here is a kill holy
shit that is large
yeah he's a big boy
wow
Dude, I think Killikans are so good right now.
They're insane.
They're insane.
So, I'm sorry, Dickie.
Who would
have
known?
Probably you with your insight knowledge now.
Your foresight.
Your foresight and your friend list.
Um...
All right, cool.
That was enough of an intro.
I just enjoyed the conversation.
I just wanted to make sure we, like, I can do more.
Or here's an idea.
You could edit it.
I could just throw the intro right in.
But no, Dickie.
I don't think that's a fair use of Dickie's talent.
Isn't that one of his talents for your actual podcast?
I actually haven't.
I keep forgetting to do that too, that one.
Is it because Games Workshop also keeps forgetting to update Old World in any meaningful way? That's what
we talk about every episode.
It's very funny to me that I have not followed Old World at all.
I don't think you need to.
They're all assembled.
I'm sure I'll paint them one day.
And I've not really followed along with the rules development.
And Adam says I have to pay to hear the initial episode and not just the second half, so I've not actually heard many old world charms.
But I can just assume support for it has just cratered.
Apart from the occasional, it's like, it seems to me very, here's some fucking models we had laying around.
What's your plan after? Just take the fucking models.
Who cares about
rules? Like, we've been doing, honestly, I...
They've been doing a fine job on releasing models.
I think that the issue there is that they're not releasing stuff, like, with any speed.
Yeah.
I mean, like, look, the game came out, right, like two years ago.
Sure.
And they've already done a new rulebook.
Old World 2.0? 1.5.
more or less.
So like they, they made some changes to the rules, but not many.
And yeah, it's just, it feels like it's kind of a content desert.
So like if there were stuff happening, like they were releasing things like every month or even like every other month, I would say, and I just don't think that's been true.
No.
But yeah, I'm glad to see my joke still kind of lands, so I'm happy about that.
