Today Griffey and Dandino return to the Abaddon by way of Morning Show in Hell House LLC 2: The Abaddon Hotel. They uncover how the film deepens the mythology of the Abaddon Hotel and it's Satanic…
Alex DandinoHostRight? I think the first Hell House LLC is a brilliant blend.
Yeah, yeah.
A kind of true crime mockumentary.
It's great.
Found footage, this and that.
This is running a similar playbook, but coming at it from very different attack angles.
How did you feel about the skeletal structure of what the movie was trying to do?

You know, it's like – there is like a if it ain't broke, don't fix it situation going on here where like let's just do – Like you said, here's the thing.

Like it's okay to run it back and then like say, oh, let's add this morning show element.

Let's add this like – you know, like now that the footage is out there, what's the actual implication of everyone having seen the footage and that kind of thing? Yeah.

Like, I actually, I like like a good talk show format to kind of like, it's not the whole framing device, but it's like a good, like top of the, it's a good top of the show thing to do, which is like, so guess what? All that hell health stuff was real and everyone's pissed about it for multiple reasons.

And they're like, not only that, People are so fucking dumb that they're going to go into that house on their own anyways.

Even after having seen Hell House, the movie that we all just saw, they're so dumb and filled with dumb person courage that they're going to go into that house anyways.

So we go through like this... treasure trove, in my opinion, of people who have, like, gone in and never showed up again.

The first one being, like, an actual, like, sort of, like, more investigative documentary story about, like, a mom who basically had their kid who they sort of tease in this paranormal activity
thing.

Where it's almost like, like, so they have this footage from when they were younger, and it's almost like he was, like, predestined.
