Um, I've already talked this season a little bit about how one of Sudeikis' influences for Ted Lasso is the similarly Midwestern former basketball coach for, ah, Kansas and North Carolina, Roy Williams.

And one of the go-to pieces of, ah, piped in music for amping up the crowd, ah, for the North Carolina basketball team during, ah, Roy's tenure was Jump Around.

So, ah, so the Voltron fan, the UNC fan, all this other stuff, th- stuff, stuff going directly into my veins.

When Jump Around starts playing and Roy, who is trying to leave, makes eye contact with Jamie and s- "No, we have to do this," I was once more delighted.

And I chicken out together.

It kind of went from like, Transformers to Ninja Turtles to hockey you know like in that order but before that I mean there was like Star Wars then you know He-Man and you know you go through these different things as a kid and so the thing is is that like Optimus Prime was my favorite Transformer I might have mentioned that I did BotCon this summer last fall I did TFCon so I've done some Transformers conventions in the past I mean in the early 2000s I used to go to them religiously BotCon and buy like the exclusive toys but that was like when I was like in my kind of like non-hockey collecting time I kind of go through phases but you know Peter Cullen was best known as the voice of Optimus Prime he passed away on August 26th he voiced Optimus Prime in the original Transformers cartoon from 84 to 87 also voiced Ironhide and then he voiced Optimus in different iterations like video games and different like spin-off cartoon series like Transformers Prime, Transformers Rescue Bots, Transformers Robots in Disguise, but the thing is is that if you grew up in the 80s, chances are you watched at least one cartoon where he was a voice, you know, not Transformers and Optimus Prime, he was, um, Eeyore and Winnie the Pooh.

He voiced the narrator in Koran and a couple other characters in Voltron.

He voiced a couple different characters in G.I. Joe, Monterey Jack and the Chippendales Rescue Rangers, which I actually love that cartoon.

That was probably a little too old for it.
