So, Linda, you saw it this morning, as you said? what did you think

well i mean i'm going to start by saying all the things i know i knew about it before walking in to see it because i'm i'm notoriously i notoriously hate watching uh trailers so i didn't really want to watch trailers obviously i am a fan of the homer uh poem and you know the odysseys um the text itself.

And I've done a whole podcast about the classics, which if Jawa, you're kind enough, I might give you a link to it later.

And so I am familiar with these stories and there are things I've learned that I did at university.

And it's really nice to have such familiarity and to see how Nolan has chosen to tell this story it is also the first feature film to be shot entirely for IMAX and it's shot entirely on IMAX cameras so Christopher Nolan has had this obsession for a very very long time apparently since he was about 16 um to shoot when he saw the sort of um the you know, the development of IMAX and decided that one day he would make one of a film specifically with that in mind and with that.

And I, unfortunately, as I said earlier, I did not get to see it on IMAX and that is fine because I'm going to go see on IMAX.

I just, I felt, I didn't feel like I missed out on anything by not seeing it on IMAX.

But I don't know, you know, who knows? And I'm sure someone who saw it on IMAX would tell me differently.

It is also one of the most expensive, if not the most expensive R-rated movies, although it's not R-rated, it's not an 18 here in the UK, it's a 15 in America and some other territories it's an 18, therefore an R-rated.

And it's a film that's also been, the story has also been adapted in the past by several filmmakers throughout the years.

And it's not the first one.

And I think the last one was the movie Troy.

Actually, some people really hate it and some people really love it.

I am in the camp of really loving it.
