The characters don't make sense, the plot doesn't matter, and we LOVED this book. We're kicking off our Season of Sequels with A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas and spoiler alert its a 5/5…
Okay, this was happily my second read because I read the first book immediately after finishing ACOTAR.
And at the time that I read it – or, you know, I read A Court of Mist and Fury for the first time.
I believe I described it as I felt like I had a reason to live again.
Yeah, you did.
And I really –
The idea of rereading it, it filled me with such joy.
It is just as hot on a second read.
I read
it in its original form.
Obviously, I'm with you, Jonna.
This is at least maybe my third read of the book.
I did switch between... audio and, and just reading it, um, just, you know, for funsies.
And then of course I got to the end and I said, well, now I have to keep going.
And I started rereading the third book.
Um, this is going to be a hard, this is going to be tough for me.
Um, because this is like literally one of my favorite books.
Um, I'm going to try to put my critical, um, thinking mean book club mean mean hat on but like it it might not fit as well
i know i know i'm in the same boat this is
my first read whoa whoa you freak audio accidentally did the uh downloaded the dramatized oh i i did not listen to that one but i saw it how i did that for the last thing and
sound effects i believe
Yeah, a lot of it really adds to it, I think.
Sounds nice.
It's very fun.
Music in the background and scenes when she's like dreaming and she's like, I heard a distant voice.
You hear somebody being like.
