speaking of which wow forever started the beta this past week let's talk about that for a hot second and then we won't we shan't talk about wow forever uh for the rest of the podcast
probably
probably So, yeah, a lot of news still coming out about WoW Forever, especially for the fact that a few days after BlizzCon happened, then the beta started.
So everybody who bought kind of the more expensive packages got an automatic beta ticket.
I know that they also had to sign up for keys.
I don't really know how many people got into that.

whether they have a subscription or not.
But on the other hand, this, by all accounts, from reporting that we've seen and like the developers themselves, this has been an honest to goodness, like a legit kicking of the tires.
Yeah, which it needs.
I mean, something like this where it's so, so radically different than every previous form of classic.
I mean, a lot of times people went like, oh, why did they even need a beta for like Wrath Classic? Come on, dude, you've already released this expansion before.
There are things to test, but this certainly needs it.
They need to stress test the new realm structure because they don't really have individual realms.
So having all these people crash in has kind of this new layering technique where if there's too many people on a map, you'll get this notice saying, hey, you're going to be kicked to a new layer.
Would you want to do it right now or do you want to wait for a little bit? That's
Yeah.
