World of Warcraft Classic

There has been a lot of rumors going out there that we are 100% going to see some kinda, like, new thing for the World of Warcraft, 75% chance for, like, a Classic+ and 5% for, like, a new WoW, like a 2.0. Again, these percents is, like, something I have made up in my head.

But, like, everyone is kinda expecting to see a Classic+, and you know, Season of Discovery, if you don't know that, so Season of Discovery was, like, a mode in World of Warcraft Classic where you could, like, get new class combinations.

Like, you could be a mage healer, rogue tank, stuff like that.

There was, like, new content in the classic game.

When I spoke to Greg Street, he told me when they were doing the first couple expansions in WoW, even at the beginning, they didn't know the expansion model was a thing.

They built Classic WoW and they're like, okay, we had all these ideas for other things to build.

We ran out of time.

So they got to the end of after two years or three years of Classic WoW, I can't remember how long, Vanilla WoW, apologies.

They're like, okay, let's just make an expansion.

And in a lot of ways, that's what you're talking about.

And instead in classic, you value your money more than your time.

Like in the sense that it's all about...

And like, I've had, I've had a bunch of people on to discuss about like IP and like how, you know, how like private servers and modding is what's keeping a lot of these games alive.

And a lot of people like coming back to certain games, it's like, well, I mean, I love, for instance, I love WoW Classic.

I love continuing to play WoW Classic because I love the art feel.

I love how the game runs.

And, and, But if there was a game similar to WoW Classic that just scratched that itch, I would go play it.

And that's what a lot of people do with private servers and stuff.

But if they're using the IP and literally just a bootleg copy of the game or just a bootleg server of it, that's not okay.

Wow.

So like World of Warcraft classic has that kind of D2 that you're speaking of, like kind of like don't mess with that game.

It's good how it is.

Players enjoy it.

How interesting is that? That language, isn't it? Right? Everything is like...

I know there's old school RuneScape.

There's World of Warcraft Classic.

There's League of Legends Classic.

And it sucks.

I mean, I know going into this weekend, I know that there's going to be some sort of announcement for Classic WoW.

We don't know what it's going to be called.

We don't know what it's going to be, who it's going to appeal to.

I don't think any of us really know because it's all just a mystery.

So, yeah, that's kind of where I'm on that.
