This is one of those topics that is rapidly changing the way we think about our digital presence, yet so many brands are still treating their social channels as completely separate from their search…

So this Monday Clicks Mini is about social search, or you might have heard it called social SEO.

Ultimately, it is about optimising your social media channels for search visibility.

Back in the day, before, you know, search everywhere was a thing, social media, I guess they were platforms by themselves.

However, as time has gone on, Google has started to index social media channels such as YouTube, such as Instagram, such as TikTok, etc., to, I guess, elevate and raise the search findings, the search experience.

Obviously, we're all now trying to work out how can we make our social media videos even more visible than ever before.

But I guess the biggest element that we come across is In-house teams or brands that are using social media agencies are still doing their thing, their social media thing.

And there's still an element of me that believes that that's really important and you should keep going because no doubt you've banked up a load of data about what works for your audience and what doesn't work.

And so I really believe that social SEO or social search should be laid on top of what you're currently doing.

It's about just then understanding how... customers and users can be finding your content through social search and layering on a social search content strategy onto your day-to-day social media activity yes I suppose that does mean producing more content if you've got teams that are really tightly stretched I would say just layer on a few really key social search content elements on top of your day-to-day So I guess you're probably thinking, okay, well, where do I start? What does this actually mean? So if a brand comes to us, we obviously look at things from a 360 search perspective or a search everywhere perspective.
