HR 2 - Mike DeCourcy, Alan Saunders

He's written about a lot of things.

You know, we were talking about the Steelers.

It's funny.

When you think about what they have coming up on the schedule, they should really be able to get on a roll here if they're a good team.

It's just one of those things where they've got to do it.

Now, we look at their defense, and, of course, the secondary is depleted a little bit right now.

Some of it is by their own doing, of course.

And, you know, at the end of the day, their defense is not getting enough pressure up front for a secondary that's not very good or not very deep.

One of the guys that clearly has to, I don't know, justify his contract and start to make plays.

And, of course, I know that there will be people that defend him.

His coaches will defend him, right? I know there are a number of people who will say, well, he's playing in a little different position.

He was asking him to do some different things and all that other stuff.

But when you look at Nick Herbig, it's been a little underwhelming, hasn't it? I mean, zero sacks, and he's got three tackles for loss.

And that's pretty much it.

No passes defensed, right? No forced fumbles.

I'm sorry, one forced fumble.

No fumbles recovered.

He's had seven solo tackles in five games.

Again, I get it.

They've moved him around a little bit.

They've changed his role a little bit.

They've asked him to do a couple of different things.

But at the end of the day, he was given that contract because he rushes the quarterback, because he sacks the quarterback.

He was given that contract because that's what he does.

And so to me, when you look at it, he's got to get moving.
