Let's go all the way back to the start because joining from Wimbledon, how did that kind of come about at the time?

When City, obviously the famous year when they went up through the playoffs, when obviously Dickey scored the late goal and I'm guessing Weaves, I think Weaves saved the penalty.

So wrongly, I think, when I look back in it, I was like, I'm not going to play in League One.

So as soon as they got promoted, which they did, thankfully, and huge credit to Joe and Willie for coming back in, they came back in for me.

Because normally with things like that, I think once you turn somebody down once, people go, you're not for me.

I mean, you shouldn't cut your nose off to spite your face, but I think my own impression of that would be if somebody turned me down once, I'd move on.

I was only there a month and I went in to see the manager and I was like, look, I've made a big mistake.

My excitement, I would say, more than anything, that it was City because they're just such a huge, huge club.
