you

Mark KennedyGUEST
know, the level of football today, you can't do that, you're monitored and turned up sports science and, GPS and stuff like that and everybody's training at a different level today but back then that was kind of what everybody did and we played hard away from the game and we walked hard within the game as I said you can't do that today but that played a huge part in our team spirit and there was no idiots in the group.

Mark KennedyGUEST
But when you look through the team, without naming all the players, because that's unfair, you had Nicky Weaver in goal, who was a generational keeper at the time, who played out from the back.

Mark KennedyGUEST
He was really unfortunate with his knee, which would have went on to have a great career anyway, but I think he would have went all the way to the top.

Mark KennedyGUEST
People like Andy Morrison was just a monster, and I mean that as a compliment in terms of his physical attributes but technically wow technically as a player he could ping a ball all over the park break line and then in midfield people like Ian Bishop Kevin Horlock Sean Goat were up front and really felt sorry for Terry Cook because I think he had the season of his life the year before and when I signed I thought here we go me and Cookie on one side unfortunately Cookie never really played but I was a big Richard Edgehill fan.

Mark KennedyGUEST
Wasn't quite a fan's favourite for simple reasons I know in my own head from a tactical point of view.

Because when you made it 3-1, did you know that was it? Did you know you were going up?
