Asa Hartford

Norwich had won the League Cup.

Do you remember? Was it Mickey Shannon's or Asa Hartford's deflected shot in against Sunderland? Clive Walker, Mr.

Pendleton for Sunderland.

Yes,

Dennis Stewart's doing this.

Asa Hartford, you know, blah.

And it was all great.

And, and then on the s- following Saturday, we played Burnley.

We got Frank Clark.

We had caretaker managers, people like Phil Neal, Asa Hartford, and then we l- yeah, we ended up with Joe Royle, who again, with David Bernstein, that combination of, uh, a football man and, and bus- football man and businessman, like w- was what helped us get back up the divisions.

You mentioned the Premier...

Uh, well, you mentioned Manchester United and their ability to, I guess to go literally cash in, but market their story.

Can you remember who the manager was then? Was it Asa

Hartford? I assume it would be Asa Hartford, but funnily enough, if you'd have asked me before I looked into it, I just always assumed it was Danny Bagara in my early days.

Yeah.

Yeah.
