I, I said that, uh, Delap's goal at, um, Villa reminded me of Collymore, and then people said: "Oh, he's no Stan Collymore." But, you know, people's got to start somewhere, aren't they, in their Forest career? And, you know, that- the idea that we might have an out-and-out striker that, that can- we can start talking about in the way that people still of my generation talk about Collymore, uh, i- is one to be excited about.

And yeah, and, and who would've had Sluga coming in on a free transfer as being integral to our midfield in, uh, at this stage of the season already after four or five games? So happy days.

I think Stan Collymore is... maybe the biggest waste of talent that English football has seen.

Stan, from a purely talent and gift perspective, should have become one of the best number nines of the last 50 years.

6'2", built like a tank, rapid, both-footed, skillful, could score all kinds of goals, headers, volleys, tap-ins, could dribble past people, slot into the goal, could finish really well into the corners and could lash them in from anywhere up to 35 yards on his right foot and probably about 30 yards on his left foot.

Rachel Thacker was born in Walsall on the 27th of May 1975 to her parents, Geoff and Gillian.

She spent her formative years living in Cannock, a historic market and former mining town in Staffordshire, well known to Stan Collymore, with her parents and her elder sister, Joanne, and later attended Chase Terrace High School, where she excelled both academically and socially.

She became heavily involved in school life, was elected vice chairperson of the sixth form committee, before she left in 1993 to move on to the next stage of her life, which was studying occupational therapy at Salford University.

Even before Rachel had left school, her headteacher had recognized that she seemed perfectly suited to a career in occupational therapy because of her caring personality, and that assessment would prove to be absolutely right.
