Ep. 296- That Face Is Smug

I was working on trucks.

Only one truck, really, in particular.

And I got it going pretty good.

I'd say.

Until it wasn't.

Friday, I had taken Friday off from work so I could get up there and be there for practice and, you know, work on things.

And we kept making adjustments at times.

I think he went out four times.

The first round, I messed up and didn't check the sway bar, but that thing was sloppy.

The bolt on the right side was completely backed off, and that thing had almost three inches of gap.

Oof.

So I tightened that up to get the gap up, and then I tightened up on the left-hand side lollipop to... get it where I want it.

I got it.

Let's left it just neutral.

But the first round I could tell something was wrong because it would go, you would go into three and four and the thing would just like have to stop and turn and like center of four.

Like the thing was just rolled over.

So I had to tighten that up and that made it a little bit better.

And then I had to work on him to get his line better.

Cause he was, What he was used to was having to fight the thing through the turn to get it to go through.

And we had a setup where the thing will basically turn itself.

So he was turning in too much and scrubbing too much speed off through the center.

Instead of letting the thing wash up, he was turning it more and fighting it and basically making the front end scrub.

So you got to enter and then you got to let the thing wash up.
