It's, um, it's certainly a must-attend, uh, conference in the calendar for any pharmaceutical pers- uh, professional, um, out, out there.

And I'm very keen to, um, jump into the Sustainability Summit and, and, uh, and your role within that.

So, um, can you take me through why you co-founded the Sustainability Collective? Um, which I think was launched two years ago in Milan.

Um, for the last five years, I've had conversations with experts across the pharmaceutical sector, from manufacturers to packaging designers to suppliers, and it really became crystal clear that there was a significant gap.

There were gaps when it came to sustainability and future resilience for the industry.

And, you know, everyone was facing similar challenges, from what I've heard.

Um, they're all trying to solve these challenges in isolation, and there, there was this plethora of challenges, but no real collaborative platform to tackle them together besides, you know, standalone separate working groups, organizations, associations, or enthusiastic people trying to solve for the challenges.

And so I teamed up with a longterm, uh, longterm collaborator, Pelina Chu, who was a senior consultant at, um, Anthea Group, and who I also worked with previously within her role at the HPRC, the Healthcare Plastics Recycling Council, and launched the collective on the CPhI as a way to bring change-makers together to share ideas, solve problems, and really drive tangible progress.

And, uh, and that's how the collective came about, and it really started with conversations.

We launched the collective in Milan two years ago, and since then, we've been, we've been strategizing and building plans for, for the industry.
