Week 9 SEC Football Preview & Predictions | Aaron Murray College Football Show

Florida offensively, I think the big question mark for Florida offensively, who is going to be QB1? They are not letting it be known right now.

Supposedly both quarterbacks are working back for some injuries at the moment.

I think it's smart.

Make Georgia prepare for two quarterbacks.

Both guys are dealing with something.

Don't show your hand.

I get it.

If I'm the coaching staff, though, if I'm Buster Faulkner, I'm going with Tramiel Jones.

I like Aaron Philo, no doubt.

I thought Aaron Philo has played really well.

And I hate, hate, hate, hate when a quarterback loses a job because of injury.

And Florida was not losing because of Aaron Philo.

But Tramiel Jones brings a little bit different energy, a little bit different juice to that offense.

Aaron could run the ball fine.

but Tramiel a little bit more of an athlete.

I thought Tramiel also improved greatly as a passer throughout the ball game against Texas.

He went into Texas.

We saw Ole Miss last week struggle against that Longhorns defense that was without Colin Simmons.

He had to face Colin Simmons for the majority of that game before he got hurt.

So, really impressive them as a thrower, uh, and really impressed them as a playmaker.

And if you want this offense, which is always going to be run first, which is always going to be Jaden ball first to open up even more, you have to slow down that second level defenders.

You have to slow down the linebackers.

You're going to slow down the safeties from really just running to, to, to cover over top, especially that outside stretch zone play, which sets everything up.

Well, how do you do that? Bootlegs, um, Zone reads, things that force those guys' eyes to be in multiple spots.

All you need is a little bit of hesitation.
