BYD Ato1 Essential.

Tom GanHost

4:50

Doubles down as Australia's most affordable EV, says the news press article.

Tom GanHost

4:55

Absolutely.

Tom GanHost

4:56

What an amazing price.

Tom GanHost

4:57

That is crazy.

Tom GanHost

4:57

That's not MSRP, by the way.

Tom GanHost

4:59

That is drive away, no more to pay, as they say in the classics.

Tom GanHost

5:03

Same car, same Essential car.

Tom GanHost

5:04

I think the, what's the, is it premium? What's the upper spec called?

Riz AkhtarHost

5:10

I think the upper spec is premium.

Riz AkhtarHost

5:11

Premium.

Tom GanHost

5:11

Premium, yes.

Tom GanHost

5:12

I think premium remains the same price, but at a one essential $19,990 drive away.

Tom GanHost

5:18

And I did a bit of, is it still called Googling when we're using Gemini? I did a bit of Gemini-ing and yes, it looks like it is now the cheapest drive away price for cars in Australia.

Tom GanHost

5:29

The Kia Picanto Sport Manual was $19,190 MSRP, so I assume it's about $21,22 drive away.

Tom GanHost

5:36

So there you go.

Tom GanHost

5:36

That is now officially Australia's cheapest car is now an EV.

Tom GanHost

5:40

How good is that? That's awesome.

Tom GanHost

5:42

I love it.

Riz AkhtarHost

5:43

Yep.

Tom GanHost

5:43

What do you reckon, guys? Rhys, Roland, what do you reckon? Is this the turning point we needed?

Riz AkhtarHost

5:49

Yeah, I'm just going to double check.

Riz AkhtarHost

5:51

Is that that Adewan Essential? Is that priced for the auto or the manual?
