It took 63 episodes before the boys were brave enough to sit next to each other and record an episode...here it is in all it's glory. With recovery in full swing and a bit of a running content…
Tim WhiteHostJeremHostUh, well, yeah, kinda.
And I'm, I'm plagiarizing a little
most, I guess most of our listeners were saying through either the socials or Strava or Spotify that we had, um, coach macaron for an interview uh last week and we just recently posted a reel and the the essence of it i guess was he was saying you know like sometimes you just need to make it easy for yourself and like running out your front door and getting it out and back like yeah it's not pretty it's you know maybe not the most fun but like it's often the most efficient and sometimes it's just a matter of like actually getting out the door
um so i just wanted to kind of double down on that because i agree um like wholeheartedly with that sentiment and not so not necessarily as as much the making it easy but like i think we often forget that like we do this because it's supposed to be fun and enjoyable so you know i said to you this morning like sometimes yeah the out and back is the answer but sometimes it is jumping in the car and driving for half an hour to go for a run with a mate because that's what makes it more enjoyable um so yeah i've had a couple of guys that i'm coaching like message me at different points and be like oh you know there's a 5k or a 10k or you know i wouldn't mind doing this and it's like a really inconvenient part of their training block But I've got to like dial it back and go like, I'm not coaching Olympic athletes here.
So like, let's keep it fun.
So that's my coach's corner is to kind of step back, have a look at what you're doing, make sure you're enjoying it and just go easy on yourself.
Like do what you got to do to get it done and keep it like fun.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Thanks.
The traffic was glorious.

Um, one thing that Matthew said that I thought was quite interesting was like If you just get out the door for an hour and 15 minutes each day, you'll be nearing that 100 Ks.

I don't think, but yeah, it was interesting to sort of like break it down in that way to be like, that's not that much is it
Uh, well, yeah, kinda.
