Kyrie Irving Will Matter More Than Anything for the Dallas Mavericks

Kyrie Irving’s return could be the biggest change for the Dallas Mavericks this NBA season, even more than every Mavs offseason move. New reports from the Mavs’ preseason trip to China say Kyrie Irving and Cooper Flagg are excited to share the floor and tilt defenses, and Kyrie’s presence takes pressure off Cooper Flagg as a ball handler. Nick Angstadt (@NickVanExit) breaks down Damian Peters’ reports on Kyrie Irving and explains why Kyrie’s return matters more than Dusty May’s new system, the players Mavs Team President Masai Ujiri brought in, and the players Mavs GM Mike Schmitz drafted. He also explains why the Mavs lacked a true on-court leader last season behind PJ Washington and Klay Thompson, and why he has been against trading Kyrie Irving unless the return is huge. Plus, the Mavs land in the B tier of the Locked On NBA tier list alongside the Heat, Magic, Hawks, Jazz, Suns, and Blazers, and Kyrie Irving still wants to play for the Australian national team.       📸 PHOTO: Imagn Images     📲 **Follow Locked On Mavs Hit** Facebook: Locked On Mavs Hit Instagram | Locked On Mavs Hit Tiktok | Locked On Mavs Hit Twitter | Locked On Mavs Hit     📲 **Follow Nick** Twitter | @NickVanExit TikTok | NickVanExit Instagram | @NickVanExit     **Daily Podcast: Locked On Mavericks with Nick & Isaac Harris** 📺 Locked On Mavericks YouTube Channel 🎧 Locked On Mavericks Podcast Platforms     **Join the Everydayer Club: Be a Locked On Mavs Insider** to support the show and get texts from Nick & Isaac on every Mavs Rumors, News Updates, Game Previews, Q&As, & More… 📲 https://lockedonmavericks.supercast.com/         📢 **Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors! |** lockedonpodcasts.com/offers     **Kalshi** Today's hit is sponsored by Kalshi.
