The schedule release, we're gonna do a before the All-Star break segment and an after the All-Star break segment.
But we will begin with a up- a, an update on the New Jersey Devils coaching staff, which has been updated quite a bit.
We know who Sheldon Keefe will be bringing aboard to his crew, or maybe it's Sonny Meyer that's calling the shots here.
Either way, the New Jersey Devils have made some significant coaching and development staff updates.
They announced this on Wednesday, naming Leo Luongo as the director of goaltending, Dan Stewart as the director of, well, well, the director of goaltending's goaltending coach.
Luongo is director of goaltending, Stewart is the goalie coach, and then Ted Donato and AJ MacLean as assistant coaches.
If the name Leo Luongo sounds familiar, that is, well, because he's the brother of Roberto Luongo, one of the greatest goalies in the history of the National Hockey League.
Luongo is overseeing all goalie development, so the Devils are effectively dividing what was Dave Regalski's workload in half.
Luongo, according to Devils PR, will be reporting to Marty Brodeur, who has been announced now as the executive vice president of hockey operations.
Brian Eklund, the Utica goalie coach, and Devils head amateur goalie scout and development coach Manny Legace is, well, they are staying put.
Leo Luongo spent the last 10 seasons with the Florida Panthers organization, noticing a trend here with the Devils front office.
And then he was also the head of goalie development and scouting in Florida for the last two seasons.
One similarity between Stewart and the last guy, uh, the Devils have once again pillaged the St. Louis Blues for the goaltending coach position.
